IMPORTANT UPDATE (April 17, 2020)

The COVID-19 crisis continues to be an unprecedented time for Connecticut and our nation. Everyone at the CSGA, our volunteers, board and staff, all offer our sympathy and support for those impacted by the virus.

 

In adherence with the guidelines outlined by the governor's office, the CSGA will be unable to conduct qualifying for the Russell C. Palmer Cup on May 4th. Therefore, the difficult decision has been made to cancel qualifying for this championship.

 

The Palmer Cup championship will still be held on May 26-27 at the Country Club of Waterbury. The championship field will now be determined by an expanded exemption criteria with an updated entry deadline of Wednesday, May 13th.

The CSGA will fill the field for this year's Palmer Cup based on this list with any additional players needed to fill the field being added through an alternate pool.  Selection from the alternate pool will be done in accordance with the CSGA Tournament Selection Policy.  Any player that is not on the expanded exemption list has the option to be added to the alternate pool by using the link below.

The alternate pool registration deadline for this championship is Wednesday, May 13th.

 

FOR PLAYERS THAT HAVE ALREADY FILED AN APPLICATION

Any player that has already applied for this championship and is included on the expanded exemption list will have their entry automatically transferred to the champioinship field.

 

Any player that has already applied for this championship and is NOT included on the expanded exemption list has the following options:

1. Add your name to the alternate pool and keep your current registration and payment on file until you have either been accepted as an alternate or been notified that you you have not been accepted as an alternate (in which case your entry fee will be refunded within 48 hours of that time)
2. Add your name to the alternate pool and request a refund now (which will be processed within 48 hours of the request) and if you are subsequently accepted from the alternate you will be required to re-register and pay the entry fee at that time.
3. Do not add your name to the alternate pool and request a refund now (which will be processed within 48 hours of the request)

* Refund requests may be sent to Ryan Hoffman via email at rhoffman@csgalinks.org.
** The CSGA will not be entering anyone into the alternate pool automatically.  Any player that does not add their name to the alternate pool and does not request a refund will have their entry fee refunded following the deadline on Wednesday, May 13th.
